Cookie Policy

This Policy explains how cookies and similar browser storage technologies are used on the Exbustl website (exbustl.com) and in the web app (app.exbustl.com).

Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a browser at a website’s request. The web app also uses other browser storage technologies, including Local Storage and IndexedDB.

Exbustl does not use advertising cookies, ad pixels or cross-site tracking technologies for personalized advertising.

Website language preference — exbustl_lang

When a visitor selects a language, the website sets its own functional cookie, exbustl_lang, to remember that preference. It is stored for 365 days from the time it is set and is not used for advertising or behavioral tracking.

Website security — Cloudflare

Exbustl uses Cloudflare for network security. Depending on the active security features and whether a security check takes place, Cloudflare may set technical cookies, including:

• __cf_bm — helps detect automated traffic and protect against bots. When the corresponding feature is enabled, it expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• cf_clearance — remembers a security challenge result so the user does not need to repeat it on every request. Its standard duration is 30 minutes unless Cloudflare is configured differently.

These cookies may not be present if the related security checks have not been used. Exbustl does not use them for advertising.

App authentication — Supabase Auth

The web app uses Supabase Auth for registration and session management. Technical session information needed to keep users signed in may be held in browser Local Storage. Retention depends on the session state, sign-out and browser data clearing.

Local app data — IndexedDB

IndexedDB stores local records, preferences and synchronization state, including for use when an internet connection is temporarily unavailable. Data remains until it is removed by the app’s mechanisms or browser storage is cleared; it is not used for advertising tracking.

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides limited traffic statistics for the public website. According to Cloudflare, it does not use analytics cookies, Local Storage or browser fingerprints to track visitors.

Exbustl does not use Google Analytics. Google Search Console is planned for monitoring site indexing and search visibility, with domain ownership verified through DNS. This does not require adding a visitor-tracking script to the website.

The current setup uses technology needed for security, app operation and remembering an explicitly chosen language. Optional advertising and analytics cookies are not used, so no separate consent banner for such cookies is displayed.

If technologies requiring prior consent under applicable law are introduced, the Service Administration will obtain the required consent before using them.

Users can review, restrict or delete cookies, Local Storage and IndexedDB through their browser’s settings and developer tools.

Blocking or deleting this data may reset language preferences, require users to sign in again or repeat a security check. Clearing locally stored workspace data can cause the loss of changes not yet synchronized with the server.

Exbustl Privacy Policy
